I have several years experience recruiting in the food industry and have developed a thorough understanding of what is needed by both the clients and candidates in solidifying a successful match and operate under the strictest confidentiality. My clients and candidates look to me as a career consulting resource, not just a recruiter.
I closely watch professional trends to keep up with industry standards. My intrinsic knowledge of the industry provides my clients and candidates with unsurpassed solutions quickly. My proven track record for success and positive attitude contribute to my ability to provide top levels of performance to both candidates and clients. As a result, I have been a top producing recruiter and received significant achievement awards for 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 including qualifying for Pacesetter status 4 times which recognizes the top 5% of Account Executive/Recruiters.
I have developed an extensive network of business relationships and candidates for companies ranging from small privately held corporations to some of the largest most widely recognized and valued in the industry. I specialize in executive level to entry level candidates in the food industry focusing on R&D, food science, quality assurance, sales, technical services, supply chain, purchasing, operations, engineering, accounting, marketing, financial services and the culinary field.
I attended undergraduate school at the University of Texas and possess a BS in Business and Biology and also received my MBA, graduating first in my class. I also have certificates in Strategic Human Resource Management, Organizational Development and Financial Analysis and Management. I relocated back to the Chicago area from Austin, TX in 2000. Prior to joining The Myers Group, Inc., I had worked in the fields of biology, finance and law. I am conversational in Italian and Spanish. In my spare time I enjoy travel, scuba diving, water sports, kayaking, mountain biking, fine dining, theater and volunteer work. I am also an active volunteer for Central Asia Institute and Northern Illinois Food Bank.
